We respect your right to delete your data. You can request complete deletion of your Matchvow account and all associated data.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your user profile (name, email, preferences)
- Your partner pairing
- All your answers to daily questions
- Your streak and session history
- Your push notification tokens
- Your subscription data (subscription itself is managed by Apple/Google)
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: From the App
Go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your account will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: By Email
Send an email to maotunko@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email address associated with your Matchvow account. We will process your request within 48 hours.
Important Notes
- This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through your device's subscription settings before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel App Store or Play Store subscriptions.
- Your partner will be notified that the pairing has ended, but your answers will not be visible to them after deletion.
